This sunrise snapshot project is a situational performance and conceptual art combined. The art project started at around 2012, and was performed on and off for about 8 years at primarily 2 different locations at my job. I have taken plenty of gloomy, foggy, and monotonous day pictures, because they are more reflective of my character – which by itself is a reflection of my life's experiences. So, when it comes up to nature, I normally gravitate more toward a gloomy Andrew Wyeth canvas with no vibrant colors.... Until one day, I thought, why not take the opportunity to juxtapose the once-in-a-while enigmatic and “beautiful” sunrises, with the upcoming ugly day of the wage slaves. So, this is the result: While the beautiful sun rises, behind my back the scum also rises... to go wage slaving.... Enjoy... but remember what happens when you take a “beautiful” sunrise picture that you store in your phone and in your memory: Behind your back, it is the sunset of a normally-lived life! If you want to know why I call the wage slaving a waste of a life, you can check out my semi-autobiographical novel and my nonfiction books about the monetary culture and the solutions to the havoc it has wrecked.
