Introduction to the Mixed media section.
Introduction to the Mixed media sectionID: PC

The mixed media section includes some of my most freestyle, go-with-the-flow artworks; to some extent they may be considered conceptual artworks as well. The vast majority of works here were done in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Many were doodles on pages of school textbooks that I may never even find in my clutter. Others are from my notebooks.

The white spot interrupted by some kind of a scratch on it.... This was a discovered artwork on the back of my notebook; and since it was discovered, I have no idea how the scratch happened.

This is what we do with body language when it has no place to talk.... When the mouth needs to talk but doesn't, we are dumping our problems for our future generations to follow and repeat the mistakes. (Oh, I just loved the pun!)

Sketch Yo Penis.

In case this one is not understood, my drawing and coloring are done on the top of the already existing artwork on the cover of a small sketch book. While I digitally removed the manufacturer's name and some other details from the original, I decided to not remove my own typo; I should've wrote Yo' not You'!

Do I want technology?
Do I want technology?ID: NB8-10.5

Here, I have a photocopy of Nam June Paik's TV Rodin, (1976–1978). I added a red sticker which I had received from some kind of promotional ads that came by mail; (I can't recall what the ads were about). The sticker label says – I want technology.... But to complete my artwork I needed to turn the statement to a question.

When I stumbled upon pictures of Chris Evert and Arnaud Clément's legs, not only I needed to join them as one and do some artistic modifications (here n' there), but also take advantage of the rhyming: Arnaud Evert.

Radio.

This is basically a mixed media dadaistic project; it is done on a leftover plastic dish drainer plate from an old dish drainer rack that was being thrown away. I made it look like an old radio.
